Wild strawberries and garden strawberries grow in strawberry patches, on a plant which belongs to the Rosaceae family and the Fragaria genus. They are high in fibre and vitamin C, and contain lots of antioxidants, minerals, citric acid, salicylic acid, folic acid, potassium and, to a lesser extent, vitamin E. Due to their sweet, fragrant flavour, strawberries are delicious when eaten on their own, but you can choose different ways to serve them.
